Purpose of processing
(a) Provide poll/quiz/group functionality. (b) Personalize feeds and recommendations. (c) Award points and streaks. (d) Send authentication and transactional email. (e) Detect and prevent fraud and abuse. (f) Aggregate anonymized analytics to improve the product.
Age (18+ only)
The DPDP Act treats anyone under 18 as a child. fngrd is intended only for adults 18 and over; we don't knowingly onboard or process the data of under-18s, so children's-data provisions (including verifiable parental consent) don't apply.

fngrd. (developed by Abhijeet Saxena) is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data you submit.
Data Protection Officer
Until formally appointed, data-protection requests go to privacy@fngrd.app. We aim to respond to rights requests within 30 days.
Your rights under DPDP
Right to information about your data. Right to correction and erasure. Right to grievance redressal. Right to nominate someone to exercise rights on your behalf in case of incapacity or death.
Cross-border transfers
Some processors operate outside India (PostHog, Sentry, Expo). We rely on standard data-protection contractual clauses with each.
