Our commitment
fngrd. has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such content and conduct are strictly prohibited, and we act on them without exception. These standards describe how we prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE, in line with Google Play's child safety standards policy.
An adults-only platform (18+)
fngrd is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. Sign-up requires an explicit age affirmation ("I confirm I am 18 or older"), which is recorded on each account, and our Terms of Service make being 18+ a condition of use. Minors are not permitted. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it and delete the associated data.
Prohibited conduct
We prohibit, without exception: child sexual abuse material in any form; the sexualization of minors; grooming, solicitation, or enticement of a minor; sharing, requesting, or facilitating sexual content involving minors; and any content or behaviour that sexually exploits or endangers a child. This is in addition to the acceptable-use rules in our Terms of Service.
How we prevent and detect CSAE
We use layered safeguards: an 18+ age gate at sign-up; automated text screening that blocks or flags policy-violating content when polls, comments, groups, options, and profiles are created; in-app user reporting; a human moderation review queue; and account suspension or removal. Content indicating CSAE is prioritised for immediate review and action.
How to report CSAE or CSAM
Every poll, comment, and profile has an in-app Report action that routes to our moderation team. To report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation directly, email safety@fngrd.app. All such reports are reviewed promptly and treated as the highest priority.
Our response
When CSAE or CSAM is identified or confirmed, we remove the content and any associated media, terminate the responsible account, preserve relevant records as required by law, and report the material to the appropriate authorities.
Legal compliance and external reporting
We comply with applicable child-safety laws. We report apparent CSAM to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and to competent authorities in India, including under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We cooperate with valid law-enforcement requests.
