Delete your account
You can delete your fngrd account and its data at any time. We soft-delete right away and permanently delete after 30 days — sign back in during that window to cancel.
How to request deletion
Open Settings → Delete account in the fngrd mobile app or on the web at app.fngrd.app/settings/delete-account, then confirm. That schedules your account for deletion.
What happens
·Your name, handle, and avatar are hidden from other users immediately.
·Your polls and comments stay temporarily so ongoing threads aren't broken, then are removed on the cutoff date.
·30 days after you request it, your account and data are permanently deleted. This can't be undone.
·To stop the process, sign back in within the 30 days and choose “Cancel deletion”.
What gets deleted
·Your profile — name, handle, avatar, bio, location, and interests.
·Every post, vote, and comment you made.
·Your score and streak history.
·Group memberships and follows (groups you own change ownership).
Can’t sign in?
If you can no longer access your account, email privacy@fngrd.app from the address on the account and we'll process the deletion for you, usually within 30 days.
